Can iCarly Stand Up To Hanna Montana?

Even if you don't have children, Miranda Cosgrove's name is known in most households. In case you don't know, she is the star of Nickelodeon's top rated show, iCarly.

The show is based on a girl named Carly Shay that has started an online webcam show from her computer and it is a huge hit. As the television show began having a strong following, it was a natural step to bring iCarly to the actual internet and the ratings have gone through the roof.

Although Hanna Montana may be more of a household name and been on the scene for a longer time, iCarly is certainly giving her some competition for the young teen viewing market. Someone that is very familiar with the teen viewers is Dan Schneider, the creator of iCarly.

Many parents will remember him as Dennis from the hit show, "Head of the Class." Now he is using his experience behind the scenes, by creating a family friendly show.
